Drivetrain vibrations

Hello guys , ever since i got my car sometimes i get very bad vibration in the entire car at idle with i put the gear on D especially it gets worse, can notice slightly mn park, the car vibrates very bad when i turn the AC on, I thought that would be from engine mounts but I removed them and the mechanic said they are fine no faulty ones, what could be the reason? It's like this for more than 2 years , sometimes the problem is there sometimes not that's why I haven't bothered myself getting it fixed.

I had the same problem. I change to Ngk spark plugs and re gapped it. Solved the issue. Looks like the person who previously gapped mine screwed up.

Isn’t setting the gap something from the past? Nowadays you just buy the ‘right’ spark plug that should already have the correct gap. Only when you have a tuned engine you could want to change this.

Your thoughts are correct. Checking the gap before install is never a bad idea but needing to adjust them is highly unlikely and unnecessary so long as you buy the correct plugs.

With the way manufacturing and quality control is these days, they truly have this sort of thing down to a science.

Recently refreshed my NGK 97506 and checked gap quickly before install just because. They were all bang on.

@Ahmaddoski

Any updates on your situation. Im positive this is not an ignition issue (at least in my case).

Wondering what you may have come up with.

I'm having similar issue with my N20 alos, I have vibration when the engine is in gear but not in park. If I turn the AC on when it's in gear there is no vibration. I used ISTA to increase RPM by 50 when in gear, this fixed the vibration in gear issue. I already replaced spark plug, injector, fuel pump, belt tensioner, cleaned the vavle and still same problem.

Just a suggestion, what about a faulty crankcase ventilation / membrane? To fix this you need to replace the entire valve cover though.
