Blade is a lot nicer in the flesh than it looks on there. I can see the CF trim being about like piano black and show finger prints, swirls, dust etc.

Blade is matt, will not show the dust or fingerprints.

Also noticed the door trims don't change on the M3 configurator like the f30,31,32, etc. Is that right??
I'd advise to avoid the Alu Blade, seen it a few times in person and it doesn't look to good IMO. The glossy CF is the best BMW interior trip piece I've ever seen in 200 years as a fanboy. Honestly go with the CF you wont regret it one bit, it looks lovely and echoes the 2x2 weave of the exterior roof etc etc.

OK so I popped in HJ Warrington in the hope to see a few M colours. They have a YMB with SSII interior.

Decided I'm going with this, its looks amazing without forking out another bit of cash I will use for CF trinkets and I couldn't wait the 6-7 months now.

The SSII interior and YMB exterior is class but bright too and will match the M stitching details and the Competition Pack seat belts nicely too.

CANNOT WAIT NOW. Forms filled in for Tony, its the take my money call this afternoon.

This is the look I'll go for and will still be getting the 666M (devils wheels?) coated gloss black. Not a bit of chrome in sight on the exterior all Black Gloss and YMB. Real Life YMB is a little lighter than this processed version but its a nice look.

I know many like to fill the arches of their cars using spacers/suspension upgrades but that is crazy. Those arches wouldn't last 5mins on UK roads!!!

Sounds great Chris.

lol at devils wheels.

So you going to get them coated, after market? Not a BMW job? Will this affect re-sale?

Yes, going to ask TRL but he might not be able to arrange it.
Spoke to local guy at Wheel Expert Ellsemere Port, been to their place and very impressed with their set up, they have a 'gloss black Friday' special every couple of weeks. Shown him the Devils Wheels picture and he's happy with it.

Not certain about resale, not worried TBF, can re-coat them back to a silvery grey if needed.

I might do immediately but likely wait until the first' rash' and tie it in with a fix for that

Yup!

I'm having a hard time holding myself back from adding more CF bits to my car! Had a real thing for it since looking at all the M4's at Coopers!

Yes, I know what you mean By the way how does it feel to the instigator of one of, if not the longest thread and probably the most expensive thread on here?

It has been a surprisingly popular thread!

I'm not really the instigator though I'm just the messenger, Tony is really the one to blame for it!

Not sure what's involved but my sales guy offered to just paint them black, I said I was in two minds about the iffy alloys and liked the standard ones better but he said it was no problem to have them painted if I wanted to, their body shop would sort it.

Great choice! I'm having trouble not ordering the carbon diffusor/spoiler and side splitters at the moment, I've done the CP gloss stuff already but the carbon looks so good on YMB!

This a good representation of Yas, but it changes depending on the light just like SSII does.

Silverstone with Amaro leather is definitely my favourite scheme from the new M3 proposals I have seen in this thread.. and prefer the std silver wheels.

I get why some people like black wheels but personally I cant get excited about black wheels on a car... the more I see even the M2 wheels the more I don't like them tbh and they are only partly black..

Did you see a guy pulling the trim displays apart yesterday? That was me, I got some strange looks but not one person questioned me in the 90 mins I was in there. Only when I asked for a brochure did anyone speak to me.

CF definitely looks the best. With the Blade option there are too many contrasting colours to look at. Keep it simple.

Haha lol, I nearly had a look at them, I was in just today. See the YMB in there, not for sure I can see, but she looked good. I've seen 3xM4s in YMB but not an M3 yet in life till then.

Still not seen a single SSII on the roads though!

Great spec. Are the 624Ms for the F20/21/22 ? These the 19inch version rather than 20inch?

I would be interested in the grills and diffuser. Do you know if they fit a F36 440i? I assume they do. Thanks

I sat in it with all the trims I had collect from around the showroom for about an hour

I'm not a fan of YMB too be honest, just not for me. Not blue enough.
