Assigned to a ship...?

my CA just informed me that my F32 has been assigned to a ship but the system doesnt say which one yet-- I do know there are 2 ships leaving Bremerhaven tomorrow..my question is, if it has been "assigned to a ship" per his system..would this mean its one of the 2 ships leaving tomorrow or could it be for another ship (next one after tomorrow isnt scheduled until the 28th!)?.. I'm hoping since it has been assigned a ship, it'll def be one of those two tomorrow..

anyone have more info maybe?

If you have your VIN you can plug the last 7 digits in the link below where it says 'Cargo ID'.

If it is on a ship then it will show up, if not, it is likely in the shipyard - wait a couple days and try again.

well yeah, I know that, we know its been at port since Sunday....so, thats not really answering my question..

anyone else have any insight on whether or not "assigned to a ship" means a ship leaving pretty soon?

would it be "assigned" to a ship thats not scheduled to leave for another week?

So then, just wait until tomorrow and see if it gets on one of those two ships.

Assigned to a ship, means just that...they know what ship it is going on - however - the time it spends at port can vary from a day to up to around a week. Depends on the route and number of cars ahead. My car finished production on the Oct 2nd, booked on the 9th, and sailed on the 11th.

Is this for West Coast delivery or East Coast? My car has been waiting at the port for almost 2 weeks now for West Coast delivery.
