You can put an order for a car regardless of how you pay for it since the beginning. You can't see what the MF and residual will be until the MY14 numbers are released though.

Many of us simply negotiate with $X over invoice and placed our order.

With the 2014s starting to ramp up production, I wonder when the BMWUSA.com website will be upgraded?

I want to see what the M-brake package looks like on my car! (even though I already built a similar one on the German website)

I would be safe to guess sometime in July it will be updated. They want to blow out the remaining 2013 and figure South Africa is building them till the end of July.

I think you can only do this if you previously had leased another BMW because this is my first and I called 3 dealerships and each said that I have to wait until residuals come out which is about July 1.

Actually this is available to anyone, now if the dealers in your area are waiting until the numbers come out to see how much profit they can squeeze out of you that's a different story. But a reputable dealer should be able to take your order.

Nice build. Estoril Blue is really a great looking color.

Your dealer can update you on the build status or you can call BMW at 1800-831-1117 and there is an automated system that will give you status.

You can program the above sequence into your phone (put your production number where the XXs are) and it will automate the whole call for you.

If you call at least three times a day your car gets moved to the head of the production line. (<< Okay... I made that part up

)

Appreciate that. Have that put in my iPhone now. Currently says 'No Production date' when I called.

Since Estoril Blue is an M Sport color only, only one choice. Might as well get the best combo, Superman.

For people who have ordered a MY14- what are you figuring for residuals/money factors? Just assuming June rates for now and hoping for the best? Also- has anyone been successful getting either conquest cash or drive event cash? Sorry for anything stupid- first post! Thanks.

I think that is all we can do at this point. Although, if you look at the 2014 rates that have been released (not the 3-series though) they stayed pretty close to the same compared to 2013. I doubt the MF rates will change.

If things stay the same for me I'll be at 70% residual and .00127 MF (not including MSDs) for 24 months / 12k miles. (Fingers crossed)

That would be great! Guess we just have a week left before we'll know for sure. Fingers crossed. Hopefully they keep the mf and residual the same and just lower the mf on the 13's. Will be interesting to see what they do with the 13's since there are ton of those floating around.
