Just skimming my I drive whilst sat waiting for the rain to stop, a question about servicing…

Car is an F31 MY14 335d, it's had-

Oil and micro filter done at 16k
Oil, micro filter, fuel filter, air filter, brake fluid at 32k
Oil and micro filter at 47k
Brake fluid at 50k
Front brake pads at 56k

The car is now at 69k and going by the above i recon it's due a major service. Does this sound correct? The car is telling me next service is due in 12k… I don't fancy leaving it that long im all honesty.

BMW quote approx £375 for the pleasure, I'm sure an Indy will do it for less tho.

Someone has not updated the service record when the last oil change was done - or an oil change was not done.

Oil change should be, at most, roughly every 18k. So done at 47k it should have been done roughly 65k.

Note those changes are what BMW 'recommend' - personally I think they are terrible for engine longevity and lead to a lot of the timing chain problems you see, I prefer oil/filter changes roughly every 9-10k
