LSD for the F30?

Anybody heard/know what WaveTrac's plans are to build a torsen LSD for the F30? Does the F30 have the same horrible ring gear welded to the differential carrier that the 2007+ E90's had?

Coming out of slow speed corners, damp surface, having just your inside tire spinning is no fun, seriously

Sad but yes it does. So the only way is to switch the rear shaft completely?

Post 2007 E9x's wavetrac had a kit where you'd send your dif/ring gear assembly to them, and they'd separate the ring gear from the diff with a CNC machine, then they'd drill and thread it to allow bolt mounting to the wavetrac diff - super fun, like an extra $700 fun or something like that

I'd hope they'd offer one for both manual and auto with different gear ratios (being that the final drive ratio's are different between the two)

328i MT - 3.91:1
328i AT - 3.15:1

335 MT - 3.23:1
335 AT - 3.15:1

Doubt they'll tweak FG's...that'll impact fuel economy.

Have they ever offered an LSD for auto's? Usually past will dictate outlay for new existing models.

We need to start emailing wavetrac to begin developing a differential for the F30!

This is quite a money saving approach. Respect to wavetrac if they'll manage to do it the same way for F30
Нere in Moscow the only way available now is to install a complete rear shaft with Quaife diff. The price is 5k$ incl. labor hours.
