442m Alloy colour for Mineral Grey

Has anybody seen 442m's that are anthracite on a MG 4 series?? I'm having such a hard time deciding what colour to powder coat mine and I've looked for ages and never seen it. I'm looking to keep my current 442's but just change the colour.

Are you looking at going a single solid color for the entire wheel?

I'm pondering the same question. Three of my four 442's are starting to show signs of of the clear coat pealing from the diamond cut surface around the edges of the hub and the center cap.

Powder coating them in a solid color will be much cheaper than replacing the entire set, but I don't know how it would look and not sure what color I would do.

Thanks archerz that looks incredible. I knew roughly what it would look but with the different alloys I just wanted to see it in a photo first. I'll be getting that done asap.

Edit: I don't suppose you've modified the rear of the car at all? Diffusers/exhausts?

I have to say I think anthracite is brilliant on most if not all colours and has the advantage over black of not making the tyre look old and dirty all the time. Dark alloys all the way though imo.

nope, only spacers and suspension (12mm front, 15mm rear and ACS springs/dampers) the first pic is 400kg of top soil in the boot so its looking low lol

Another lovely MG/Anthracite combo and it looks great. That was another thing I'm trying to decide on - what to do with the diffuser.. leave it matte, half paint MG or fully paint it gloss black.

Is the diffuser oem?

Go Gloss Black. I don't get the matte style. To me [and its just my view] it looks kind of grubby/half finished and it doesn't complement the High Gloss Shadowline Finisher, Side panel air ducts or exhaust tips.

I think you may be right actually I'm definitely giving it more consideration now. Tough decision though! Have you done anything to the front of yours or left it stock?

I'm still undecided on this and it's really frustrating haha. Kinda stuck between anthracite and satin black. I've revisited this page 100 times to look at how good the anthracite suits and it's such a hard decision!

Note; if anybody has any more pictures of anthracite or satin black 442m's (or similar) then feel free to share!

I think it looks slightly more aggressive and perhaps a bit nicer with the black, it's probably what I'm swaying towards right now but it definitely highlights how much nicer the black or anthracite is compared to stock.

How much did you spend on the lowering and spacers all in?

ACS (springs/dampers) was about 1800 fitted. spacers about 250 i think. was a while back now.
