Wheel and tire advice

Hello,

Just bought a 335i xdrive m sport with adaptive suspension and found 3 out of 4 rims are seriously bent and one of the adaptive struts is blown out. Currently I have the square 18" with puny 225 width all around and pirelli runflats. Getting a new strut and new wheels and tires...

I read here with xDrive it is best to stick with a square setup. I am looking to get a new set of wheels and tires and cannot decide between the following options:

1. Upgrade to 19 inch wheels and perhaps some wider tires. Worried about the wheel gap on stock adaptive xdrive and also about ride and noise quality. Switching to nonrunflats may offset those concerns. Not sure what width wheel or tire specs is best?

2. Buy new set of 18 inch wheels. Should I do the 8.5 width wheels and maybe 235 or 245 width? What sidewall should I pick?

By the way, what wheel design do you think looks best on estoril blue m sport f30?

Thanks!

Wow! Looks fantastic. I wish my car looked like that. How is the ride quality?

Are the wheels 8.5 and 9.5 then?

By the way, where did you get your lip, side mirrors, and side skirts? Your car is so sick

Thanks!

I actually like the 763M wheels. I just saw them on someone else’s car. It meshed really well with EBII.

I got square 437m reps with 235/40/19 tires.
When these wear out I might try 245s

You are right, reading through them now and there are so many opinions and ideas to consume. I think I am going to get some 19s for summer and keep my slightly bent 18s for winter

You have to narrow the wheel style down

1. spoke: Y, W, mesh, solid
2. How many
3. Aggressive or PnP
4. Size
5. Color
6. Budget

Happy hunting😅

The wheels are 19x8.5 et35 F and 19x9.5 et45 rear. Ride quality is much better with non-runflat tires even though i went up to a 19. The tire sizes are also 26.3" versus the 26" of stock providing a little more sidewall. Gives the appearance of less wheel well gap.

Grills, lip, mirrors, side skirt extensions, color matched reflectors, trunk lip and rear diffuser are all off ebay.
