F30 spring rate recommendations?

Hey, new here. Picked up a 340i xdrive not too long ago and decided it's time for some coils. Probably picking up a set of Ohlins R&T and would like to know what spring rates other people are running. I don't mind a stiffer ride. Thanks in advance guys.

Spring rates specifications for Ohlins R&T coilovers:

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-4...it/?pdk=AgAAAQ

Specs:

Front Spring Rating: 343 lbs/in ( 6 kg/mm)
Rear Spring Rating: 915 lbs/in ( 16 kg/mm)

What prompted your interest in Ohlins? Very good (if not one of the best) coilovers at a price.

I'm thinking of going this route as well. My current Bilstein B14 kit isn't stiff enough.

“Isn’t stiff enough” meaning that you’re getting too much body roll? Upgrading sway bars will fix that. Going to higher spring rates rattles teeth/harshes the ride.

Those Ohlins spring rates seem extreme to me. KW is known for high quality and a more comfortable ride than other coilovers. KW V1, V2 & V3 spring rates are Front 226, Rear 630.

Unless Ohlins has now moved to different spring rates for different vehicles (specifically the engine, due to the very different weights) my understanding is that it has increased the front springs to 80N/mm in the 2nd generation of the R&T for BMW.

Gen 1 R&T front springs were 60N/mm and in my experience were to soft for my 30d. I had my shop replace them with 80N springs from Ohlins shortly after the original installation around 5 years ago.

Rear springs remain the same at 160N.
