tires are rubbing excessively on new suspension setup
hello everyone, I just want to get some advice on what to do with my car setup. I have a 2013 335 x drive and I have just installed an f32 bc racing extreme low kit on my car. Before anyone says I am stupid for doing this, I got the kit for a very good price and I do understand that there was a high risk in trying this out. For anyone wondering the f32 and f30 does have the same suspension with respect to getting coil overs or lowering your car. anyway, my car is too low now in the rear. i am pretty sure that the spring height in the back is maxed out so idk if I can do anything with that. it also has reverse rake and is rubbing excessively. i have a few options. option 1, I roll my fenders and add max positive camber in the rear. this would have to be a short term option because doing so makes the car obviously handle like dogshit. option 2, I get slightly taller springs and do everything from before. only thing is I don't know if the shocks will still work. i cant think of other things to fix this and I am not considering getting new wheels at all.
thank you guys for any advice you give, all greatly appreciated |

Curious what size wheels/tires you have and where it’s rubbing?
Search FaRKle! posts. He’s written about changing out various coilover springs |

i am running 18x8.5 with 245/40. i don't actually know what the offset is because I bought the wheels off of a friend and I was never informed about it but on full stock suspension my wheels had about 3/4 inch of poke. the only reason I don't want to change my wheels is because I got them for a good price and they look really good on the car IMO. its rubbing about 2 inches on either side from the middle of the fender.

3/4” = 19mm of poke 35-19= ET16 Just a guess, thinking out loud. I could be totally wrong, your 3/4” estimate could be off, etc. Is your car lowered, using non-stock alignment specs? |

lolodamonkey, from what I recall BC Racing Extreme Low coilovers lower the car at least 1" to 2" with the max drop setting about 4" to 5" lower than stock.
[Private note: I am not a fan of these colovers] Do you know if your colovers can still be adjusted to a higher setting? |
