which lowering springs for 420Xd
Hello, im looking for lowering springs but i dont know what kind of lowered i should i take.
my car is 420Xd with 20 inch wheels with 245/30/20 tyres. i have stock, standard suspension, not M. I really want to lower the car but dont want to riding tyres on the fender all the time. also i want to buy RWD spring from MTS do u have any suggestions?would be great looking like on picture |

Your car looks lowered. Are you the original owner? EDIT...sorry, i failed to read the photo is an example.
i would lower with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and F80 bumpstops. although it won't be as low as the photo, the ride will be sporty yet compliant, x-drive reverse rake will be addressed and they are also designed to work with OEM dampers. https://www.eibachshop.com/index.php...gs-bmw-4-coupe . Before suggesting a certain course of action, how is the ride now on 20" wheels? Lowering springs will provide less suspension travel and you may find the ride to be stiffer and perhaps even jarring at times.
If comfort is not a concern, alohasurftoad recommendation is spot on. |
