ER DP B58 Quality Control Issues?

Just wondering if any of you guys with the ER downpipe have taken a peak inside the actual piping to see if the bungs were flush with the inner surface of the pipe. Mine still has the bung sticking out some, and it looks like someone tried to grind it down but only made it through half of the actual bung. It's also not welded inside correctly, leaving half of the circumference of the bung exposed...? Isn't ER supposed to be one of the better companies? Ha...

I have ER dp and it works flawlessly. Could be a fake ER dp?
