Just going through the tricky bit of seeing the first daily wearing scratches… never fun but has to be done…
YM Rhodium is very underrated imo. You have the looks of a Sub and some of the rounded slimmer bezel/case of a Datejust. I think they look great.

I had this watch on my Rolex portfolio but changed it to the new RLX Titanium YM when it was launch this year...see how long that takes but getting on the list early seemed to be a feat after speaking to others.

Enjoy your YM.

I've hardly worn my Panerai (literally once) since I got my Apple Watch Ultra but seeing it with fresh eyes made me realise that it's picked up a lot of fine scratches. Still, I bought it to wear rather than keeping it in a box and the enjoyment of having it on the wrist outweighs it no longer being pristine.

I’ve always worn mine in the same way as I drink the good whisky instead of watching it gather dust. With such quality materials (back to watches, not whisky!) they look just as good worn as they do pristine. Plus if it’s a keeper, it can be polished up a few times.

The punched metal bezel is not one that can be easily ironed out that’s for sure. I’ve checked that it can be refurbed and it can - hell of a lot goes into it but all possible.

Retirement gift

Treated myself. First Omega and to be fair first watch over 300 quid so a big spend upgrade.
First impressions, it’s bloody lovely. I can see why folk get ‘into’ watches, the craftsmanship/quality is just wonderful and a very unexpected albeit small discount and great service and patience from Watches of Switzerland Brum.
Rubber strap on order as I intend to wear it a lot, it will be no special occasion only queen.
Bit of a crap picture so apologies and wow are all watch boxes this big…….

My first big spend was on an Omega, great watch and hardly took it off for 5 years. Enjoy your purchase and don't be scared to wear it.

What’s the easiest way of changing the strap on the Moonswatch’s?

Got one myself, but don’t want to damage it by making a hash of changing the strap.

I used a Bergeron watch spring bat tool. If you have a magnifier of some description that’s good. I live near an omega boutique. They’ll help you out if your nice to them!
Use your thumb mail to expose the spring bar a little then insert the forked part of the tool and pull inwards while applying some downward pressure. Takes some time to perfect but really not hard.

Strap I bought from Amazon came with a tool to remove. Was pretty simple to do

Selling my Aqua Terra if anyone is interested. Bought in Oct 2021 and includes the OEM rubber/deployant strap and the OEM bracelet. All paperwork included.

Just doesn't get enough wear time.

PM if interested

Sorry don't know why the pic is sideways!

Another nice one from Tudor , been looking at another watch recently and was considering a BB chrono Panda but the FXD Pelagos might be in the running now , it would compliment the Ti FDX currently in the collection.

Just hope it is not going to be another prolonged "waiting list" item

Having said that i only waited a few weeks for the FXD from the time of order.
