Here is the flashing guide:

http://www.bmwesys.com/guides/E-Sys%...CU%20Guide.pdf

You need to flash only the RDC ecu.

And here you can find the Full-psdzdata:

The ...227 should come from an F10.

So you can try the following:
Start E-Sys and connect your car as an F10.
Then the usual read FA and read VCM.
After that mark the RDC ecu and try to "detect caf for swe".
If it works without errors choose a CAFD and hit OK.
BUT NOW DON'T CODE THE ECU!!!
Don't close E-Sys but disconnect the connection.
Connect again as your car series.
and again read FA and VCM.
The RDC should now still have the assigned CAFD.
Now only code the RDC ecu with the assigned CAFD.

If that doesn't work you also can flash the RDC ecu and after that you should also be able to assign a CAFD.

I hope that was understandable.
Thanks for your help with this. Tried to change to f10 from f30 but still got the same error. Speaking with Shawn he says these are not code able however I see some people are managing to inject the cafd and code successfully. Never done ecu flashing before but up for giving a try. As it's just the rdc module I would be flashing could I do this without a power supply? I'm guessing the only risk would be to the rdc module itself?

This worked for me in 2016 when i was retrofitting the RDC.
I think for flashing the RDC ecu there's no power supply required.
And yes, the only risk is the RDC module itself.

Apparently I am doing something wrong coding, though I cannot understand what that is.
Do you think you can guide me through?
I'm in the same boat did you resolve yours at all?

I'm desperately remaining hopeful there will be a way. I bought the same ones as you based on your success. Seems very hit and miss. I am wondering what those of us who can't code it have in common with each other, and the same with those that can. My vehicle is a MY2013 F30.

The crazy thing is once errors are cleared it all works albeit briefly.

Mine hasn't worked I'm absolutely gutted. I should have chosen the correct parts for my 2013 f30. I just don't understand why some have success and some don't with exactly the same part numbers. I just cannot inject a cafd into the rdc module. I'd even offer a reward to anyone who can help me get mine working.

Shawn also confirms its not possible.
