Did you notice much difference between Sport and Sport+?

(Or any of the other modes for that matter)

Between Sport and Sport+ you really only notice it if you're pushing the car really hard on turns (i.e. on the track). It does allow for some more slip, while still keeping you on the track.

The difference between Sport and Comfort is definitely noticeable immediately. Everything stiffens up (steering, suspension) and the throttle gets more rev-happy.

With ECO Pro mode it feels like they lopped off some cylinders, but just fine for hypermilling while cruising on the highway.

Cool, thanks Jason. Can you also switch off DSC independently of the mode?

Yes, there's a separate DSC off button above the driving mode selector switches.

Seems like they should have put the DSC switch somewhere else / farther away from the mode toggle. You could easily hit that by mistake just trying to toggle from ECO to Normal.

I never park there. On an occasional weekend I will park my car in front of Bubba Gumps, right in the middle of Cannery Row to show it off haha. But I notice every nice car on the street, and rarely see M3s.

Maybe, but if it is like other BMWs, you'll have to hold it in for a second for it to shut off completely.

I wonder if it still has three different settings like the E9x (On, Off, DTC), or if the DDC is considered to take the place of the latter since it effects the level of DSC intervention.

Thanks for posting the pic Jason.

LOL, these guys didn't know that the auto is 8speed.

In the beginning of the video, where there are a few F30s parked, the Mineral Grey with Luxury Line looks very similar to Space Grey. I was under the impression that Mineral Grey is a darker color. It would be nice to see a direct comparison between Mineral Grey and Space Grey.
