Brake pads for standard brakes

Just got new wheels put on the car, and I have the grey standard brakes with the 340mm rotors. I have a couple sets of ceramic brake pads from my last f30 that had the m sport brakes. From what I’ve read those two brake calipers use the same pads. My question is can I use those ceramic pads on the standard brake calipers and rotors? I have the ebc yellow stuff pads

Yes they'll be fine IIRC

EBC pads, IMO, are utter tosh and don't perform well at all...

The ceramic pads will give you better braking and less dust; which pads are they?

I have the EBC yellow stuff pads. I haven’t really looked into them I just had them from the old f30. I’m not sure if they’re ceramic pads haven’t looked. Looking for ceramic pads to keep the dust down

The ATE Ceramic pads are superb; easy to get here in Europe but not sure your side of the Pond.

Apparently the Akebono pads are supposed to be very good from what I've seen on here
