330e

After driving the 330e for a few years I decided it was time for a change.
I'm not really a fan of the current design strategy of BMW. So I decided to make some changes to my current 330e.

After installing a VRSF catless downpipe it sounded really terrible. So next step is a new exhaust.
The original exhaust is very well made and light but had to go:

I was looking at replacing the cat with a catless downpipe with silencer https://rm-motors.com/produkt/downpi...0e-b48-tlumik/
What do you mean by your vrfs sounding terrible?

The original middle silencer made a very metallic sound when i replaced the downpipe. So i changed the whole exhaust.

Do you mean the middle silencer?
If so, I might go with a catted downpipe 200 cel Dp

Yes indeed the middle silencer looks not very happy with the extra flow. I'm not sure if a high flow catted downpipe will fix this issue. I guess there will be more people who tried this before on this forum.

I wanted a custom dual exhaust from the beginning. So when we found this issue we just changed out the middle silencer. But if you want to keep stock exhaust after the downpipe you should do some research.

I'm looking for something that will give a little bit more of a throaty raspy sound. Nothing too loud.
Plus with the change of downpipe I can go stage 2

There isnt much on the market for the 330e and i even tried the supersprint midpipe, but that didnt fit.

That map are you running? BM3? The burbles part of the tune. Are they adjustable?

Yes it is BM3 stage 2. The flap in the exhaust is closed in the first few seconds. Than opened. This is also controlled by BM3. The burbles are adjustable have to play around with that.

Thanks for the reply. I have MG Flasher. But they are having issues trying to get burbles to work. Hopefully they'll get it resolved soon...
