F31 aftermarket hitch
Hello All,
Anyone know of any aftermarket hitches available for the F31 in Canada/US? I just leased a 2017 330i touring and thought I could get a aftermarket hitch as I saw someone drive around with a 328i Touring with hitch mounted bike rack in my neighborhood. should have done my homework... I have a guy who can make a custom hitch but he has to drill in the frame and my dealer says no as it will cost me when I return the car. I mountain bike weekly and am trying to avoid a roof mounted system. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Ordered it directly and installed it myself They ship it with FedEx and there were about 130CAD fees on top. The price of the hitch itself with delivery was about 670USD for F15.

What's the difference between the two manufacturer's hitches?
Any problems with PDC with stuff in front of the bumper?

Invisihitch is removable, so when you do not use it - there's nothing in front of the bumper. With bikes - I guess it's different story, haven't used it yet.

Thank you everyone! Looks like both Stealth Hitch and Invisihitch are from the same town in Georgia. I ordered the hitch from Stealth Hitch as I could do it all online. I will post a photo once it is installed, I am really happy I did not have to go for the roof mounted set-up.

Ordered it directly from Stealth Hitches. This is the link https://stealthhitches.com/
I had it installed by a BMW authorized body shop, but I wouldn’t recommend them. The Stealth Hitches website has a “find an installer near you“ section. I would suggest that. I had the wiring installed as well. I use the hitch very often and I have no complaints. I am very pleased with the performance (solid) and how it is 100% invisible when not in use. I use it for my - 1up USA bike rack https://www.1up-usa.com/product-category/bike-racks/ - aluminum cargo trailer |
