To retrofit Carplay on my 2018 340i, I have to install an antenna as well. I'm gonna use an OME antenna and will remove it before return. Would that be a problem?

As long as you return car with working OEM parts and with everything working that was on the car when new, you would have no issue in USA. As for UK, might want to ask in regional forum.
