Fed-up of the dreaded exhaust rattle... I've tried disconnecting the flap when open, but still suffering!

I believe you can tighten the spring that operates the flap to stop this happening. Don't ask me how to do it but sounds like an option to try?

I've also tried that, but didn't make a noticeable difference.

I had this on my M235i, wrapped a load of wire around the exhaust to keep the valves from flapping about.
