AUC wheel warranty

Evening

I have around 4 months remaining on my auc warranty. All 4 wheels are showing white worm. Can I make a claim to replace them? only done 4k in six months.

Tyres have not been changed and wheels have a very small amount of light kerbing.

Have you checked the wording, I thought alloys were excluded

Alloys are excluded. It’d be if your dealer said (in writing) that the allows are perfect and not been refurbished you may have something to refer to.

If it’s AUC but under manufacturer warranty and not been refurbished or “damaged” then you stand a good chance.

Edit: They’ll likely blame you kerbing the alloys removing the coating allowing moisture in

They have been refurbished so bmw germany will reject a warranty claim.

Mine was referbed from the dealer i got my car from, i reported this to my local bmw and they offered a good will gesture for 4 brand new alloys which i took.

My car had the 1 year extended warranty and was bought from a bmw dealership.

there is hope.....
