440i Stock Tune Feels Quicker than MPPSK Tune

I have a 2019 440i Gran coupe with the Resonators removed, and axle back Remus exhaust installed. I DO NOT have the MPPSK Exhaust.

When I flash my car with the BM3 MPPK tune, the car feels more “sluggish”, less quicker, and the fuel throttle response sometimes gets “jumpy” - hard to explain but it’s as if I’m letting on/off the gas 10 times in a second.

The second I flash back to stock (non MPPK) the car feels amazing.

Does not having the MPPK exhaust cause the tune to not “fit” the car correctly?

No. That's definitely not it.

First of all I notice you state "MPPK tune". I am not familiar with the BM3, but that's most likely a mistake, as the respective 40i product is called MPPSK.

What fuel are you using? 98RON is "recommended" with MPPSK. This said, it still doesn't explain your issue. MPPSK works just fine with 95RON, you just may not achieve the max available performance.

The MPPK tune was only available for the F30 335i, so no doubt if running it on a 40i it will have issues

As you definitely notice the improvements from standard to MPPSK on a 40i

And is a full cat back exhaust system

Bm3 says mppk actually. And it's an option for my b58 340.
