If not.. sounds like someone is short on money and needs you to fork over some..
I'd ask for reasons why.. take a look at your tire treadwear and/or a knowledgeable guy at a tireshop to inspect your wear and see if there are any alignment problems..
if it aint broke dont pay to fix it

Of course. Dealers are independent of BMWNA. It's common for them to suggest additional maintenance because they don't do a lot of post-warranty repairs. They can't survive on warranty work alone.
