It only works if you have Navigation. Otherwise the button sits there and taunts you...it does nothing.

I found that you can't have the door open while driving up the car ramp. The reason I had the door open is to see how far up I can go. As soon as I put it in D drive and step on the gas, the anti-roll light came up, transmission go back to park.

I've found that if the headlights come on during the daytime, the HUD information doesn't change red like they would at night; they stay white!

I do not believe it has anything to do with the auto setting. You were probably just not going fast enough for the adaptive headlights to engage. You need to be going a certain minimum speed, if i remember correctly. |

According to the manual Adaptive Light Control only works when the headlight switch is turned to automatic. (page 90)

Good to know. I'll take your word for it. Does it state whether or not the vehicle needs to be traveling above a certain speed for the adaptive lights to work, or does it start from 0mph? I feel like in parking lots and at any speed below 10mph it is not doing much? |

Interesting, mine definitely changes on my 2012 F30. In fact it's mildly annoying when going through short tunnels etc which is probably why they changed it, it'd be an easy fix I imagine.

I don't know if you have noticed. When you have Comfort Access.. When you have keys in your pocket, you can leave the motor running, step out of the car and lock the doors. Motor doesn't stop. Handy on a cold day, when you have to make a brief stop (ATM etc.) just after starting. |

As you drive up from town speeds, I cant remember what mine was, I presume around 30mph, if you watch carefully, you'll notice the beam pattern change with your 'offside' light narrowing and extending in distance also.

My point was that the cluster's sensor is smart. It recognizes the difference between daytime and nighttime when activating the headlights, and the HUD color reflects that. Whenever my headlights come on during the daytime due to reduced light or whatever, the HUD info remains white. When my headlights are activated at night (..or in extremely dimly lit situations like freeway tunnels), the HUD info is red. That's all that I was saying. |

My post was in response to another member wondering why anyone would intentionally drive around with the mirrors folded in, so I gave him a few examples. I have no issues with the speed at which the mirrors automatically unfold.

2) Place your straightened foot directly under the trunk, pointed toward the front of the car -- DON'T SWIPE IT BACK AND FORTH. 3) Step back and you should see the lights flash 2x and the trunk pop open |
