Jb4 Posti Tap to OBD2 N55
Hey everyone,
I can't seem to find that post where it had pics of connecting the posti tap connectors to the OBD port without the adapter..... Anyone have the pic where the green / brown wire clips onto?? |

OP,
As far as connection to obd port, hard wire 2 off JB4 CANBUS connections to rear of OBDII port inside cabin using the posi-taps, as per photo below. JB4 -> OBDii Green -> Grey Brown -> Blue BP |

Just curious why would you want this? This method is not even supported by BMS anymore and I highly recommend the obd can bus adapter.

Method no longer supported is canbus connection under the hood. OP wants to know how to connect canbus wires direct to back of OBD2 port - to make a more stealthy connection than OBD2 plug into the front of the OBD2 port.

This is sort of a fusion between the can bus and posi tap systems. Still not something I would recommend as the OBD connector takes seconds to remove if needed. Mike |

It turned out that the OBDII itself looks different with less wires than ur pic, but i connected the wires as described in the grey and blu ones which are for CAN high and can low pin number 6 & 14 and then upgraded the JB4 software and all is working fine First when i connected the wires....nothing was working and the Jab4 switched to map 0...:after upgrading the jb4 firmware everything is back to normal. Thnx man |
