How are you finding the F34 compared to the F30. I have an LCI F30 and have just ordered a F34 to use as a company car, so we will have both!

The one I have on order is a 330D Xdrive M Sport with the M Sport Plus package. In Estoril Blue with black leather.
Agreed nice order.

Loving every minute of it.

The driving position is completely different and rather refreshing for a 3 series come 4 series saloon.
The inside is huge and much more practical.

I ordered it on the 25th October and the dealership are saying it looks like the end of December for delivery which seems very slow. Our last 2 both took 6 weeks from ordering, to driving them so hopefully this one will be here by the 10th of December.

Have any of you UK chaps managed to get the VIN number to track your build via the BMW site?

I was given my VIN number for the latest car I took delivery of on Sept 1st 2015, from day of ordering to it being at the dealership took 8 weeks!

March seems very slow to me?

I have been onto BMW and they say mines due the 1st week of January which seems only just bearable. I ordered it on the 25th October.

Hey guys! Great thread and nice pics, rapid.

Just an updated from my end, I ordered a 330d GT M Sport on Friday 30th October.

I was initially told 12 weeks to delivery which is quite a lengthy amount of time so I rang up my dealer last Friday 23rd November and he said that there's a high backlog of orders for the GT at the moment because of recent contract hire deals and a lot of people have piled in.

I haven't received a Build/VIN/Chassis Number as of yet and I guess that will come when my order is assigned a chassis, probably in the next couple of weeks.

That sucks, seems people have realised that these are really good cars to own....the secrets out.

My 335D M-Sport Touring order was estimated as March but is currently showing as June, but the factory havn't released build slots or quota for 2016 yet, so the delivery times will come back as they allocate quota. Worry ye not!!

March 2016?!

That's crazy. Forget June at all. How can it take so long. May as well plan the next car at this rate.

I see what you mean about build allocation, that's a great point. I'm sure it's just a matter of fitting a queue and getting that information to us in due course.

Sounds like you have a sweet ride coming. That 335d will be an epic car. I went for the 330d not being able to justify the higher powered car for my specific needs. To be honest, I think the 320d is pretty darn good these days but that 30d slickness and pulling power is too much to say no to.

I recently took a road trip across Germany from Berlin to Wesenberg to Hamburg in a hired 430d Gran Coupe and I absolutely loved the engine and feel of the car. I guess the GT is going to be pretty similar to the GC aside from styling, ride height and maybe handling.

As an aside, I can't wait to rid myself of my current Fiat Bravo. The clutch went (after 4.5 years) and that cost a good £1500 to fix at which point I was furious. The car is only worth around £3500! The 3 series GT has the space I need in hatchback form but it's bigger than the 1 series and has a 6 pot and RWD over the B-Class-with-a-BMW-badge 2 Series Active Tourer.

There's my life history, anyway. Best of luck to you, I will post updates if I hear anything from my dealer.

I have spoken to my dealer today, my current Audi is due to go back in April, the sales guy is now saying it will be April when it will arrive!

Glad to find more people on here who appreciate the 3 GT and "Get" what the 3 GT is about.

I have had 2x 3 series already and fancied a change. I didn't want the 4 GC because it is just a better looking 3 series to be fair.

I went to the dealership and took a 5 series out for a spin. It did feel like a land barge and didn't inspire me.

On my way out of the dealership I saw this nice looking vehicle. I asked "what is this?" " A 3 series GT" came back the reply.

I took it for a drive and really loved it. So last month I placed an order for a 330D M Sport Pack
Estoril Blue
Saddle Brown Interior
M Sport Plus Package
19" wheels
Media Package Pro.
Reversing camera
Ext folding mirrors, auto dimming
Sport Seats
Front heated seats
Brushed Aluminium interior trim with Pearl chrome
M sport suspension
Electric seats with memory.

Should arrive last week of October 1st week of November.

I cant understand why people hate this car, i think its a nice car all round.
Now then, have you really got a 3GT or have you been reading the Daily Mail again

Oh my word. My dealer just told me that my 330d GT production week is now June 2016?! WHAT? This is absolutely appalling. Really annoyed. Guess what, my f*#^ing Fiat had the same clutch problem and now it's busted and in the garage again for repairs. Seriously bad mood now. Looks like I may need to get a temporary car for the 7 months until June...

June 2016, surely this can't be right?
