Took a peek at it before I left for a dyno tuning session. Beautiful product so far I will try to do some side by side comparisons next week but we've been having crazy weather around here was 60F degrees last week and it's freezing and snowing today, I'm not sure logs from ambient temps of 30F will really show the potential of each FMIC, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

If my car was working properly and consistently the review would have been out already, and I sincerely apologize for the delay. The physical review with measurements, pictures, and installation notes have been ready for a while.
As of right now I have an unexplained issue with my car and it seems to be related to my turbo and fueling situation, and I'm working through the troubleshooting steps with my tuner and many other . I've been investigating and testing all possibilities and think I have finally found the major issue behind many minor issues I've experienced and am working on getting it resolved as soon as possible, new hardware has been ordered for the fueling system and the turbo issue has been identified. As soon as my car can perform consistently then I will be posting full logs side by side, and I think I owe the community side by side dyno results as well for my final review of the ER vs the Wagner EVO 2 Competition FMICs. My sincerest apologies for the delay, but I will get this done, and I will get it done properly, I don't want to skew results in anyway.

Argh! I bought the ATM FMIC because of your review. Oh well, competion and product improvement is a good thing. How much of a pressure drop and how much weight savings? The Wagner and ATM designs are identical though.

The Wagner Performance models are bar and plate as well. The Competition models are Tube and Fin.
The cooling of the tube and fin was nearly as good as the cooling of the bar and plate. It is quite a bit lighter as well and cools down faster. Hence I went with that one. |
