Hi all, rather than a new thread I thought jump on this one, can anyone recommend a good wheel refurb company close to Oxford and Witney? I have Oxford Performance Auto very near, and good reviews online, anyone with experience here? Have 4 19” wheels in need of refurb and want to respect in an OEM colour, not sure if that’s a hard ask for some refurb places to match the paint properly?

They should know what paint colour it is. On my 2015 335i my 19s have a diamond cut and lacquered face, and the sides of the spokes are Ferric Grey Light, and I'd think any half decent wheel place will know this. Ideally visit a couple of places, get quotes and ask about colours and finishes, how long they'd need to do the job etc.

Just to note, there’s a Ferric Grey and a Ferric Grey II
I can’t remember which one is on the wheels, like you have said, the wheel shop should know or be able to work it out easily. If anyone lands here looking for a recommendation in Sheffield area - RS wheels are great. |

I had one of my wheels refurbed by Wheelshine in Yeovil. Not much use to you, but costwise as a guide it was £90 for a diamond alloy. They blast it, grind it, fill any deep scars, then powder coat it electrostatically, pop it in the oven, skim off the paint to expose the outer alloy face then powder coat again with lacquer then oven bake it again. TBH if you are getting all four done then forget diamond alloy, just get them all powder coated a lot less trouble.
