No squeak to speak of with my GFB. I was considering upgrading to the turbosmart just because I was upgrading the turbo inlet with a MST. But after plenty of research I can't see a feasible reason to switch. Especially since there is nothing wrong with the one I have.

I wondering if oiling the TS in some way would make it not squeak? Probably wouldnt last forever though, even if it did.

I have the dual port.
Here’s a quick video in a tunnel - just a quick blip of the throttle

Yeah... thing is i dont want a big dump/whoosh sound. I had that when i installed the CTS intake for testing even with stock DV. The DV sound was obnoxiously loud. You could even hear when it was just slightly bleeding boost and you were still on throttle (perhaps similar to what people describe as a squeak). The last thing i want to do is install TS (plumb back or dual port) and have my DV get louder. I dont mind slightly hearing DV with MPPK airbox bottom on stock intake but that's about as loud as i want it.

I like the sound but even I didn't want the vented one. between the intake, the inlet etc its pretty loud.

Turbosmart plumback. It’s quieter than stock.
