I found the stage 2 had more predictable (linear) throttle response over stage 1, which was echo'd by others. The only "unknown" is was that the 1.x maps vs 2.x maps? I know 2.x was a HUGE improvement over the 1.x ones for linear throttle response, and I honestly cannot remember when I put the DP in so I could run the stage 2 maps.

Stage 1 91 octane: up to 18% HP / 26% TQ
Stage 1 93 octane: up to 20% HP / 26% TQ
Stage 1 E30 octane: up to 25% HP / 30% TQ
Stage 2 91 octane: up to 24% HP / 32% TQ
Stage 2 93 octane: up to 26% HP / 32% TQ
Stage 2 E30 octane: up to 30% HP / 35% TQ
Stage 2 Racegas: up to 30% HP / 35% TQ
Stage 2+ 91 octane: up to 37% HP / 62% TQ
Stage 2+ 93 octane: up to 43%HP / 68% TQ
Stage 2+ E30 octane: up to 47%HP / 73% TQ
Stage 2 AGG (Aggressive burble) versions of maps available
Based on NON-MPPK version cars

93 targets less timing than 93+. 93 plus assumes really good 93 with maybe some octane booster, or a gallon or 2 of E85. Maybe I'll try it out with WMI to see how it works out.
thank you I just don't know what constitutes good gas. I'm in Toronto and esso 93 or Petro 94 are the only options. they are both ethanol blends. no e30 here so those are my options. is it good gas? I think so? I know ptf used esso 93 for all their map testing since they are also Toronto based.

but I want to play it safe so I've moved from stage 1 93 back to 91. I feel the difference with the 93 map though. and I'd love to try 93+ but still want to play it safe. I'm thinking that stage 2 91 with a dp is probably the safest balance of maximizing power while not pushing it too hard.
