Is it possible to turn on speed limits in an F#) that does not have the
DAP+ package (camera in rear view mirror) I realize that you cant turn on what is not there (the sign info) BUT the speed limit info is in every NAV.

AFAIK, in order to add SLI (Speed Limit Info), you need a KAFAS camera (which only comes with the side/top camera option). Even if you retrofit it, you would also need an FSC code (which you have to buy) to enable it.

I'd also love to be able to simply display the speed limit info from the navigation database (just like my cheapo Garmin does) without having to have the camera hardware that reads the signs, but I've never seen anyone reporting that it was possible.

Every so often I'm in SD... once every month or two. Usually just take the Amtrak since my destination is always downtown and parking sucks. Next time I'm down there I can shoot you a message?

izzyM3, I don't have the equipment to code E-series frames, just F-series.

I think I'll leave OC/SD meets to the capable hand of 10nelyboi and Steve33 as they are both from the OC area.

Frogman, yes it's for my new F30 is what I have right now. I was involve in a multi-car accident and my 11 month old M3 baby was declared a total loss. So the plan is to ride the F30 until the new M3/M4 comes out. I could just not sit in another e92 without feeling down. But so far I'm really liking my 328i as its a great daily. I'm open for a meet at the LA ZOO if others can join. Thanks!
