Whats up guys before you guys say anything yes it was an n54 and yes it was bound to happen buuutttt im in need of some new tires pretty soon but am not so so familar with tire brands well for slicks and want to know if you guys can help me out

So I was going back home and its a single road and I live in the valley ranch area so a farm truck cattle thing got in front of me so im just cruising super slow and there was a white toyota van behind me and I noticed a car at first I thought it was a scion tc slammed because it looked like one well thats wgat i thought until the truck turned into a different road and I see the car over take the van and bam I step on it I was only on map 1 anyways I stepped on it thinking it wasn't going to pass me up and I see the 335is freaking shot right pass me like crazy and yeah he was on e85 you can smell it he got me by like 2 cars I had no chance. Coming from a e90 n54 full bolt on with pure stage2 and a custom tune and ONLY 91oct, my 435i feels really slow. I think you're Gonna need more than just slicks. It's not a fair race since the 335is is dct too.

Yeah I wouldn't doubt it Ive driven a 135i n54 and I never wanted to go back to my 328i lol. At least I know where I stand tho I know I can take some 370Z's, mustangs, challengers etc... 335's tho I can't a 335d yes and newer 335i f30 I can just depending on the setup I decide to do or what they have but I mean at least it was 2 cars not a bus lol. Dream car though n54 135 or 335i will be my next car forsure if not a e46 m3 and turbo it or swap it gotta wait a cpl years since im only 17 at the time. ._.

Doesn't it get pretty hot where you are? The extreme temperatures and slicks aren't going to be a good match. They're just flat out going to be melting like butter with the road if you daily your car.

Yeah right now its pretty hot but it is cooling down little by little now.

Not that it's going to suddenly get you seconds off your 1/4, but the Michelin PS4S are excellent. Not sure what size you are or what your rolling on, check tirerack to see if they fit. Ranges from $250-$350 a tire. Nothing is better on the road. On the track is a different story, but that's not going to help you in situations like this.

I am 19's staggered and yeah ive been looking into them and thinking about ps4s or toyos r88 or something like that.

I had a good experience with federal 595 rsrr tirws. Sticky cheap but loud road noise.

Slicks won't help unless you're doing dig racing or 1/4 mile shit. Lighter wheels and mpps would help but again, list mods and we can discuss further.

I your FBO already.....sell the car and get a 335 even make the jump to an M. Makes no sense to build/upgrade or go bigger turbo. Motor is not stout

Lol no I knew I was going to get gapped regardless lol But mod wise I have er chargepipe, catless dp er, vrsf 6 stepped intercooler, gfb dv+, jb4, esr wheels with hankook ventus. I am getting a custom tune from DME tuning this week and just need an exhaust now then ill be fbo and will run e85 sir. I would sell the car lol trust me I would do it but im only 17 lol and this is my first car besides a 135i n54 that i bought litteraly last week from my friend.

You're only 17 and you just bought another BMW? I would have sold it and upgraded to a CPO M3. At 17 I'd rather have one car that was very quick rather than 2 that aren't as quick.

Yes sir and yeah you got a point but ive always wanted to build an n54 instead of a 335i I wanted a 135i since it is lighter. I mean the 135i does already have mods pure stage 2, and fbo but I plan to make this car into a single turbo and going from there. Later on ill work harder to get an e46 m3 and turbo it that would be a dream lol

Yes lol I just drive my 328 as a daily to work and daily use. 135i right now is what im going to build after I finish doing the most to the 328 I know a 328i doesn't have much lol but I mean why not make it fast stock sucks.
