Anyone here running Dinan or AWE Mid with a Stock Muffler? Or Mid+DP+Stock Muffler?

Title says it all, curious to hear more about this setup, from what I've seen online, it's pretty awesome.

Anyone here running Dinan or AWE Mid with a Stock Muffler? Or Midpipe with catless DP with Muffler?

I started with only swapping the DINAN mid-pipe and have now added a high flow catted downpipe but all on the stock muffler. I may someday add the DINAN muffler, but it sounds pretty good as is imo. The reason I added the downpipe is because I am running the stage 2 MHD tune.

How's the sound with the mid and downpipe? I've heard some clips that make it sounds pretty nuts and pretty loud with nice crackle

It will definitely pop and burble, especially in Sport. Comfort is pretty tame but still nice. I really like the balance of being a bit louder and more fun without being obnoxious. I can cruise in Comfort with the valve closed and not draw any unwanted attention but throw it in Sport and then I cannot wipe the smile off of my face.

Exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the feedback.

If all goes well I'll have this setup on my car soon, depending on the in stock availability of the Dinan mid

I’m interested in this setup too. I’m trying to weigh replacing the muffler vs. adding the Dinan or AWE midpipe with the stock muffler. Does anyone have any videos to post with the Dinan, AWE or other midpipe with the stock muffler?

I found several on YouTube. It sounds good. It seems like the muffler isn't what's restrictive on this car, it's the mid section.

Sitting here wondering what about the Remus 1-2-1 midpipe section ONLY on the 340... @mike@x-ph.com can you chime in on this?

I have the Dinan midpipe and BM3 with the burbles turned up. Even before the tune the burbles were definitely louder than with the fully stock exhaust. The midpipe adds a really nice tone and a bit more volume to the stock system without being over the top at all.
