What should I do ?

My newly acquired 335i came with a custom exhaust. I love the sound but hate the exhaust tips. To me they look way to big and silly. I'm in two minds. Spray them black with engine bay paint to tone them down. Or get them replaced with thinner profile dark tips.

They are welded on so I can't just slip on a new set.

Just an update. I got the cans changed for some black chrome slanted tips. Much better and a bit more low key now.
