Received my new wheels today
So I bought some Fast Wheels FC-05 (19.4lbs) and General G-Max-AS05 tires 245/40-18 (23lbs) and they showed up today. Wasnt what I really wanted but seemed like everything i wanted to order was discontinued.
Replacing my heavy 442m wheels, (29-30lbs) and worst tires ever Contisportcontact 5 SSRs 225/40-19 and 255/35-19 (both 27lbs). So saving 56lbs total of unsprung weight. Could really feel how sluggish and the amount of braking needed, with those heavyweights, after switching out my winters, which are pretty light as well. Now to mount them up on days off. Tire weights per tirerack.

nice! a lot of people overlook wheel weight and the difference it can make. I'm in the market myself for tires, update the thread when you get them on with how you like them and pics.

So days off were rainy pretty much everyday, didnt get any pics, but did get car out on new tires. What an upgrade, steering response is so quick now, did a quick lane change on highway, noticed lots on body roll, didnt notice before with the slow response of the conti rfs, lowering shocks soon i hope. No more tracking either. Didnt really get to try but seems like understeer is alot less now.
With the reduced weight, braking is so much quicker, and acceleration feels much better also.
