KWV3 Install on F32! Here goes nothin'

Getting my space and tools organized, ready to lose that wheel gap!

Just unboxing now - the packaging was incredibly nice and looks very professional!

Purchased from Bryan_KiesMotorsports great service, incredibly responsive, no issues at all!

Here goes nothing...

Hopefully got the correct version. I guessed that I had non-edc.

Didn't see any wires running down the strut 🤷🏼*♂️

Care free to poke fun if I got it wrong.

Loosened these top 4 13mm's and the etorx holding the strut brace (I don't have these sockets so I carefully used a 15mm)

After I got the end link nut off, I couldn't push it through as it was not horizontal (you can see in the photo, it was pointing downward)

I had to jack up the suspension slightly to get it aligned, and I then I could push the end link out of the way.

Sometimes it a struggle to get them all the way back in.

You will be very happy with out that huge wheel gap.

Putting everything together, just torquing everything down.

One down three to go! Ugh, so amateur.

Oh this is cool, sheared this off.

56nm? I was torquing this down and of course this would happen.

Next step, order bolt and drill out the broken one?

Looks good! Though!

Ima' order a new top hat ($120 bucks) and just replace all of the top bolts with new ones.

56 Nm? No, the spec is 30 Nm (+90deg if virgin bolts) for the LCI M8 bolts (which you have since it's a 440xi). No wonder it sheared.

Thanks! I ordered another top and all new bolts. I'll make it right.
