F34 328i rear differential fluid change

I am new to the F34, upon trying to change the rear diff fluid, I notice that some sort of vibration damper was in the way of my socket. In order to remove it, I need to remove a support underneath the vibration damper because, my socket was just too big to fit in that tight area. Seems like a huge hassle to remove all that. Is there another way of doing this or am I forced to remove everything?Name: Screen Shot 2021-07-17 at 4.29.59 PM.png

You need a Torx box wrench to remove the damper bolt. If you do your own work you need a set of Torx box wrenches as well as both male and female Torx sockets, BWM uses lots of Torx fasteners.
