I have a 2019 F36 painted in Mineral Grey Metallic and have chrome door window trim as well as chrome kidney grills and 440i badge. I would rather have all black. I am contemplating changing my kidney grills to carbon fiber and would consider changing the badge to black but the window trim is still chrome. I'd like to change these to all black but the cost is something to consider for a cosmetic preference. I know I should do this to make my car more my liking (as well as a change in rims as well) but life priorities take precedence. Sometimes it sucks to be responsible.

Just keep it original, it looks classy, black badges look cheap and take away the expensive look of a BMW!

if you have chrome to match the chrome badges, then it works. if all your trim is black, if all your car accents are black, not only does it not look classy, it becomes a complete eye sore that doesn't match anything
