OP has a 2013 with CIC system. If he codes 6NS he will have audio issues. For CIC use either 6NK or 6NL (Same as 6NK but with connected services).

When you code make sure you delete 6NH and add 6NK (or 6NL) in alphabetical order. Then VO code HU_CIC. You will have to recode any options you had previously coded since it will code to stock.

Managed to code enhanced Bluetooth but speech button no longer works.

Also set HU_NBT > HMI 3000 > SYSTEM_TTS to ‘aktiv’, and CE_DEVICE_SPEECH_RECOGNITION 'aktiv'

Not sure if you've figured it out by now but changing the FA to 6NS (blah blah as you said) is "VO coding", which is only possible through an E-Sys cable and using the E-Sys Launcher software. If I'm not mistaken, Bimmercode only does "FDL Coding".

I myself have used BimmerCode to successfully code a couple of things on my vehicle. I was planning on doing Enhanced Bluetooth until I discovered how it is accomplished. I really don't want to go that route but I just want to know whether or not this coding method has worked for either of you?

Exactly. I recently coded EBT using esys and followed a PDF I found on BimmerPost plus a YouTube tutorial. Works great except the "Office" feature only displays my phone contacts.

Hi - just starting to look at coding for my 335dx 65 plate. I am going round in circles trying to find information on how to go about this. I would prefer to use bimmercode, all I want to do is enable EBT and turn radio off when opening the door. Some posts say you can't code EBT via bimmercode, some say you can, some say use VO coding, others FDL, totally confused! Is there anyone who can help a little as to do the above? Many thanks.

The steps posted by bestia earlier in this thread will actually work. It is a bit lengthy with the number of parameters you have to adjust but you'll be able to do it in expert mode in bimmercode.

Many thanks for that. Just so I understand correctly this would be FDL coding via bimmercode and not vo coding which would presumably mean just changing one code? And if so does that mean you can’t vo code using bimmercode?

No worries. It can seem intimidating and I completely understand.

You can't use Bimmercode for VO coding which would be easy to change just one code instead of the multiple lines to adjust when going the FDL route. The plus side is that the interface is easier to use.
