Product is similar to the JB4 tune and is plug and play without need to rewire or cut into ECU.

Based on Evolve Technik's website it improves power and torque from 180kw / 350nm to 221kw / 420nm with tests done on their own dyno.

I'm selling as I'm going overseas soon and my parents (who will get the car) won't need 221kw...

For those that don't know Evolve Technik is a highly recognised premium tuner in Australia that won the Motor Magazine tuner challenge for a few years running. Most recently they won the 2013 competition with a porsche 911 turbo doing 0-100 in the low 2s

Its a little more expensive compared to say a JB4 but you really are paying for a premium product.

In my personal experience the tune improves power but in a very refined manner with gains throughout the rev range. No engine check lights, problems, rough idle or coughing.

It DOES NOT come with installation instructions. You will either have to figure it out by yourself (5 plugs, not hard) or drive into Evolve Technik or any of their interstate dealers for installation. A list of dealers is shown below;

I know this is little more expensive than JB4 or other tunes in the market but this is a product from a premium tuner well known in the local market. Check out their website for a list of accolades and awards won and you will know what i mean!

Good luck with the sale, however you might find it hard to shift at that price given the zealous following Burger/JuiceBox has. Evolve do nice work though I admit, however I've been holding out for an OBD flash tune (like Cobb) if I ever get around to pulling (connecting?) the plug on a tune for this car.

Should add its easy to remove for service and warranty work. Simply unplug one switch and cover it.II've been back to BMW with no issues for service or warranty
