Too early to tell but so far it rides like the proverbial "it handles like it's on rails." It really needs to be tested at its limits on a track to get a true sense of how they handle. But pretty satisfied for now.

I ordered mine with the coral red interior as well. Like you said, having an all black or all beige interior on an M-Sport seemed somewhat boring!

I've said it before, but why does the sportline get contrasting stitching and accents but the M sport gets plain black... And beige is just not sporty, ever. |

On interiors
Chrisny,
I thought that the lack of contrast stitching on a vehicle that definitely has sporting pretenses was a poor judgement call on BMW's part, at least until I saw the Alcantara/cloth interior that Euro-spec M Sports can get ordered with. I really like that interior's blue contrast stitching and blue-patterned cloth seat inserts, especially with the M Stripes integrated into the seat piping, and would have considered that interior if it were an option. That being said, I just love the red. I fell in love with it a few years back, and decided that if I were going to get another BMW I would get one with the red interior. As far as beige goes, I would mostly agree that it is never sporty, unless you're talking about a Rosso Corsa or Giallo Modena Ferrari with tan seats! |

Exhaust Carbon Build Up On One Side
Now that I've got 700 km on the odometer, I've noticed a difference in the color of the two exhaust tips. The drivers side inside exhaust is clean with no carbon build up. You can actually see the metal inside the exhaust tip. The passenger side inside exhaust is coated and layered with obvious black carbon build up. Is this normal?

Painted Reflector & Chrome Bulb
Too hot to be riding the motorcycle today. Decided it would be a good time to stay home and fiddle with the car.
Changing the turn signal bulb is easy. No tools required. The directions are in the US owners manual on page page 199. Took all of 5-10 minutes. The painted reflector took a little more effort. Removed the three screws in the wheel well and peeled back the plastic shield to access the reflector from the inside. It took about 30 minutes to gather tools and go through the learning curve. Rather please with the clean look to the front end. |

Looks great with the painted reflector. What site did you get it from?

Looks beautiful. Ordered my '13 335i X-Drive M Sport today. Black Sapphire metallic with the same interior colors and finishes as The Dude's car. Now the 12 + week wait...
