Can our cars run e30 with tune?

As the the title states can our stock pumps handle an e30 mix with 91 backed by a flash tune or would upgrading pump still be required?

From what I've read, E30 is the upper limit of what the stock fuel system can handle, assuming you're properly tuned for it. It's definitely pushing it, let's put it that way...

Pretty much this. You can run E30 on the stock pump, although it stresses it out and you have a higher chance of pump failure. Upgrading the LPFP is relatively cheap and easy install (minus your hands smelling like gas and bonus points if you spill gas in your car). Don't waste your time on running it without a supporting tune, as you won't see any gains (potentially a loss of).

Got it but bm3 told a friend of mine that the stock pump can handle e30 and told him to mix for a better octane rating. So I spoke to Halim who said he would be making a map for me and after everything is all figured out he will publish the map to give to other users.

Whole purpose honestly of running e30 and the map itself is to give a better octane rating since the 91 out here is terrible resulting in the ignition being low hoping the mix fixes the issue

So PTF is making an OTS map for ethanol? That's pretty cool...

Yeah, it's true that it can handle it but the stress is definitely increased. It's just like the chargepipe honestly. You can run 23psi through it but your chance of cracking does go up. I just went with an upgraded LPFP because it's a cheap preventive measure AND you could go higher than E30.

+1. You can put rocket fuel into the tank, it still won't be a rocket. Higher octane offers the potential for higher performance, but only if ignition timing and boost pressure are altered to take advantage of that potential. If you do so performance gains are obtained at the cost of engine life and reliability.

Yeah. I think an E30 tune would be net people right into the range of the upper limits of stock engine parts/turbo, without pushing it too far. Just have the supporting mods and she'll likely keep being reliable.
