What exactly does the "structural warranty" cover on these? The website disqualifies a few things but bends/cracks due to potholes aren't mentioned. I emailed them directly asking for clarification, but just got replies in broken English that didn't address any of my questions.

Bends/cracks due to potholes are not covered under the structural warranty. The structural warranty covers any defects on the wheel such as bends etc that arise from normal use and not as a result of hitting potholes or curbing them. Pretty much a guarantee that the wheels aren't going to just fail from normal use as a result of a manufacturer defect.
