I'm an engineer and I'll tell you that is bullshlt, if there really is an engine that have problems because it's not driven hard enough, then it's a freaken design flaw.
It certainly had design flaws no doubt.
I Believe the comment was related to the battery designed to only charge during coasting.
If you're driving gingerly I guess conceivably there is little coasting time available to charge.
Then when electric water pump ran after car was off to cool turbos made it eat batteries.

Going forward with purchase.
Everything they've said about car has checked out.

Got to a price I couldn't turn down.
To find another car in used market exactly color I wanted, black on red, loaded with basically every option like this one would be hard.

Will update once I'm there on Friday for pickup.
Excited to have a BMW in driveway again!

Whole process couldn't have went much smoother.
United BMW had someone pick me up from airport.
Paperwork went smoothly.
They had even repainted front bumper due to some scrapes it had.

United definitely impressed me and I'd travel there again for future purchases.
Now let the modding begin...
