Help: 328i Sportline Exhaust Cutout
Hi Guys,
I'm toying with the idea of getting a dual exhaust and would need to cutout my driver side rear bumper Does anyone know whether the bit you cutout on the sportline is in itself removable from the rest of the bumper? Reason I ask is - I would like to go to BMW and buy that bit but for a 335i if it can be separated from the bumper and use the dual outlets for that hope i;'m making sense |

Assuming the bumper on the f30 is the same material and paint quality as previous models, you will find on the other bmw forums that people have taped, marked, and sawed the section off. It actually comes out very clean and after a bit of sanding, looks almost identical unless u are looking closely

Thanks Seph
My issue is that I need to return the car to stock in 4 years time so cutting into my bumper is not viable tax return is coming around and i'm looking at doing a few things - wheels, springs, exhaust, front lip |

Only M-sport have a removable diffuser. All other lines have a single piece rear bumber. So you need to get a new rear bumber if you want to cut it and then return it to its original state.
