Christmas animation plays connected drive

Hey everyone. I coded the start up animation for the display to be Christmas using bimmercode but it plays connected drive. I coded connected drive 1 and 2 and they are all the same. Anyone know what the issue might be? I have a 2016 435i.
I just went back to M which seems to work. I'm new to this bimmercode thing and thought that would be the easiest one to start with.
I searched every forum and nothing mentions this issue. I know there's also the issue with start up animation not playing which I've also experienced. If this is a topic that's been beaten to death in the past, I apologize.
cheers

Canadians don’t celebrate our thanksgiving. It’s an American holiday.

Turning the start up display off is the first bit of coding most people do.

Pretty much, and for the most part for the better. They even tend to be aware of how their Thanksgiving holiday came about, whereas most Americans are not. The first celebration of what would later become Canadian Thanksgiving took place 43 years before the Pilgrims arrived in Massachusetts.

The joke was funnier in my head (like usual) how we have just barely hit Halloween yet stores and towns have Christmas lights up and decorations.

No idea there was a Christmas animation until now. Where have I been?

Is this an easter egg only available via coding change or is it supposed to automatically change at certain times of the year for cars built for a region which celebrates the holiday?

Coding of your idrive through bimmercode allows you access. wouldn't take more then two mins.

Canadian thanksgiving is first week of October for us. Allows us to proper pace our turkey consumption across the months.
