overall tire diameter for RWD
after researching it is a bit unclear to me if overall tire diameter matters on RWD car?
the setup that I have recently switched to is 235/35/19 and 255/35/19 on 8.5j square wheel which results in 2.2% taller back tire. My question is does it matter that the circumference difference is above 1% on RWD? Is it safe to ride on this setup or should I be switching back to my OEM set some clarification would be great.

If you have the same size on both sides on a RWD car it shouldn't break anything unless it rubs. Your speedo will be off as will be your odometer.
The 1% issue is for AWD between axles.
