Pricewise they're oke, i bought them new and i got a good deal , they're just very big.. and will limit your wheeloptions quite a bit.

I have the 6 pots F10 M5 calipers with the 400x36 on my V10 M5 , and this time i wanted a slightly bigger caliper.

As the Touring is just my daily commuter/grocerygetter and i simply dont have the time to swap the single turbo S55 i have for it anytime soon , i started this little winterproject.

Calipers are still at the paintshop, he fucked up the stickersplacement and they need to be redone..

Since i have no room in my 20" MB design KV1 wheels and from what weve measured there was less then 5mm room in the wheel , i decided to remove the 4 top notches on the calipers which have no use and will give me another 5/6 mm of room.

On the frontface of the caliper you wouldnt even notice the removal of those 4 notches.

Here it is painted.. ( and will need redoing because of the decals not being perfectly in place )

Here caliper is fitted with Porsche pads to a used disc and knuckle.. you can see that the pad does not cover all of the disc, this isnt a big of deal since the oems also have a small rustring, but i cant stand a bigger then oem rustring.

Since i only need like a 5mm more pad height i decided to make some new backplates and have them make 2 new front brakepads that will make sure there wont be a larger rustring on the disc then normal.

Had them lasercut and ill send them of to a company that will install a new brakepad onto them..

And just a quick pic to show how big these are..

Update in a week or 2...when i get them back from the paintshop
