Obviously 330...

So I have just sold my previous re-mapped E90 320D, and have bought myself an EBII F30 330D!

Thought I would start this thread as a little "journal", not going mental but a few mods are on the list to be done (one of which will make the title make more sense...). This is it as bought:

It's got a lot of kit: front/rear parking sensors, auto park assist, reversing camera, sat nav, wide screen, blue tooth etc.

Immediate mods are: black double-slatted F80 style kidneys, possibly F80 style spoiler, de-badge. I need to fit my dash cam imminently also.

Looks nice. Hope you are enjoying the bigger engine.

My current wife has a 120d and I see a big difference when I get into my 330d!

Look forward to seeing the mods!

Enjoy!

Definitely a lot more powerful! Feels very responsive in Sport. Have to be careful though, saw the same unmarked E61 (59 plate) police car pull over 3 different cars last night while I was out... ....testing.

Me too, me too. Might change the alloys at some stage but no rush, they look awesome.

Debadged, and black M3-style kidneys:

Interestingly if I take pictures at 1/500 or quicker exposure I risk missing the
pulses of the LED lights and get some funky effects like these:

Black grilles really do transform the car, especially on EBII

Looks good, how easy was the debadge to do?

Some simple instructions would be appreciated, as I am thinking about doing mine.

Thanks

Heat up with hairdryer, pull badges off! Bit of polish or compound to remove any residue.

Thanks Tim, someone said you need dental floss or fishing line as well, do they just pull off when heated up?

Now it needs MP spoiler & diffuser! There's other nice mods too, but those are the essentials.

Really easy. Warm up (not too warm, like warm to touch 40c ish), dental floss easily removes them, rub the remaining glue off with fingers (which takes a while), and then I clayed/waxed to finish it off. Not a difficult job.

Debadged, but "obviously 330" still

Funny? Sad? I know private regs are always a matter of contention

Today I/we fitted an M Performance rear diffuser, courtesy of Mr Wu in Tianxiang, Taiwan. Fitment was not perfect, as expected really, but with some trimming and heating with a heat gun I think I am happy with the results, what do you think?
