I guess we don't have anyone on the forum to confirm what the coding option will do....shame.

Setting up a 435i Xdrive for drifting (not my idea). Working out the complications.
1. Was just going to pull fuse #32 but this sounds better
2. They pulled the rear ABS sensors to install hand-brake calipers, have to take signal from front or disable DSC and ABS completely
3. installed a manual trans so coding that auto out tomorrow I hope

Very open to good ideas. Somewhat open to other ideas too

There's a mobile app, xHP Flash tool that will be able to do this for us. It's new release date is tomorrow, Monday. It was pushed back from sometime in December. It's already being used in the E9x.

Edit: it's a completely different app from the same company. xDelete is the application.

Thanks for that link. I had not found that one yet. We'll see if I can:
1. code it like a non-xdrive (so no dsc/abs lights)
2. mirror the front ABS sensor signals for the back
3. auto to manual coding
4. default dsc/abs off

Gunna be interesting

Does pulling the fuse still work on a 2018 340i xdrive??? If so will I have problems like the car being stuck in limp mode or will I just have little light in the dash on?

Just code the car, much better than pulling the fuse. DSC > C_Funktion_LaengsMomentVerteilung_aktiv_e > aktiv change to nicht_aktiv. You have to change VCM so DSC has a build code for a non-xDrive.

Do you have a VCM build code for a non xdrive that will work for my F31 sportwagon 328D? I’m tired of seeing the Chasis Stabilization warning light on all the time.

it should be doable by manipulating only the software via FDL coding

comparison between s28i and x28i US version.
No other car optionals have been taken in consideration(like Hill descent control etc).
An example for my F25 but it should be the same for F1x/3x/4x/etc

Sending out the driveshaft for servicing, so will try the fuse trick to see if the car can be driven at all or if this is all a cruel joke. Hoping it's real!
